Henderson County Public Schools requires that all applicants for all positions complete the NC Department of Public Instruction online application. For up to date job postings, please click on the button below.

This application system will allow you to apply online for employment to multiple counties in North Carolina at one time. It will also allow you to update your application with your most current information.

Review Hiring Process for Desired Position

All Certified employees must hold or be qualified to hold a license from the State of North Carolina. Applicants for teacher assistant positions should acquire a copy of all college and/or university transcripts for review during the interview process.

Contact the school or site to schedule an interview. If you are offered a position, the Human Resources Department will contact you by email with instructions for onboarding, including a final HR Intake Appointment.

Please do not send your resume, paper application or transcripts to the Human Resource Department at the Central Office unless you are offered employment.
