Hendersonville Middle School is very proud of its rich heritage! Before HMS was HMS, it was the Ninth Avenue School. In 2006, Mayor Greg Newman declared February 18th as Ninth Avenue School Day. We are proud to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the day that honors our school history. Every year, we celebrate with activities and games that help us learn and connect to our history and roots.
