Distance Learning Opportunities
Henderson County Virtual Public Schools (HCVPS)
The goal of HCVPS is to provide students with additional opportunity, flexibility, and convenience to earn high school credits in an online environment.  Courses are offered to HCPS students and taught by HCPS instructors. We know that many students need the freedom and flexibility that online learning can provide including convenient access to their course content and instructional support from their teacher.
Eligibility:
- Must be a student in grades 9-12
- Must have the permission of counselor and Principal (or designee)
- Must sign the HCVPS student/parent agreement

The North Carolina Virtual Public Schools (NCVPS)
Eligibility:
- Must be a student in grades 6-12
- Must have the permission of counselor and Principal (or designee)
- Must have all necessary parental signatures on any forms initiated by school or NCVPS
