LEAD

WHAT IS THE LEADER IN ME

TheĀ Leader in MeĀ (LIM) is a transformation process that enables individuals and schools to better address three universal challenges: Leadership, Culture, and Academics. Many educators view the challenges as three separate parts of a school’s success. In contrast, theĀ Leader in MeĀ sees the challenges as interactive, each impacting the other.

The ultimate ā€œends in mindā€ of theĀ Leader in MeĀ are to enable staff and students 1) to lead their own lives (to become independent), 2) to work well with others (to become interdependent), 3) to live life in a balanced way, and 4) to make meaningful contributions wherever their influence takes them.

What is Knights Vs Cancer

An event hosted by our North Henderson Family to raise funds and awareness for the fight against cancer. Our goal is to get every school member to join the cause. Teams, clubs, and classes host various events to raise money and awareness throughout the year.

How Do I Get Involved?
NHHS Faculty: Sponsor a Team or host an event

NHHS Students:Ā  Get a group, including an adult sponsor, and host an event before our Knights Vs. Cancer Festival or open a booth the night of the festival.

Community Members:Ā  We would love to have support from the community at our Festival on May 2nd

Despite its effect on our lives, North Henderson High School has found a way to fight childhood cancer – through the Vs. Cancer Foundation. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to saving children’s lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts. North Henderson High School is hosting an event called Knights Vs. Cancer, where all proceeds will be donated to the Vs. Cancer Foundation. Our goal this year is to help fund costs associated with attaining a therapy dog for the Pediatric Oncology floor at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Last year, North Henderson High School raised over $19,000 with the help of community businesses and individuals just like you.
Where Does the Money Go?

The proceeds from the festival and additional KVC events throughout the year go to the Vs. Cancer Foundation.
