Schools
As a federal requirement, the Title I services of Henderson County Schools administers Title I funds for public and private schools.
Henderson County Public Schools has several elementary schools that are identified as Title I schools. These schools implement Title I School-wide programs:

- Bruce Drysdale
- Clear Creek
- Dana
- Edneyville
- Etowah
- Fletcher
- Hillandale
- Mills River
- Sugarloaf
- Upward
Private Schools
Three Henderson County private schools receive Title I funds.Ā Ā To qualify for Title I assistance, students in these private schools must live inĀ an attendance zone ofĀ a public Title I school and be failing or at risk of failing to meet student academic achievement standards.
