Farmhouse at night. Lights are on at the porch and in the windows.

Farmhouse at night.

Candlelight Christmas tours will be held on Saturday, December 13. Four tours will be offered that evening, at 5:00, 5:45, 6:30, and 7:15 PM. Visitors will take part in a guided tour of the decorated 1880 farm house, visit with the Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists, listen to live music by local students, and partake in hot cocoa and cookies.

Reservations and advance payment are required for the Candlelight Christmas tours as space is limited. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students and seniors (65 and over), and free for 4 and under. Children are more than welcome, but please know the tour is about an hour of listening to guides talk about farm history before ending with hot chocolate and cookies. Guests may begin making reservations November 3 by calling 828-891-6585 or emailing jfarm@hcpsnc.org.

The Junior Interpreters meet once a month after school to help out around the farm. They also help with our special events throughout the year and serve as junior counselors for the day camps. If you are interested in being added to the email list for the group, please email jfarm@hcpsnc.org. You do not have to attend every meeting-just the ones when you can!
