Girl Scout Day: August 22

Daisies and Brownies: 10:30 AM-12:00 PM

Calling all Daisies and Brownies! Come to Historic Johnson Farm for a morning of fun! Daisies will earn the Daisy Trail Adventure and Animal Observer Badges. Play hiking and animal games, observe the farm’s donkeys and goats, and go on a trail walk. Brownies will earn the Bugs Badge by searching for bugs at the farm and creating a bug habitat. After the program, please feel free to explore the grounds and have a picnic lunch. Troops or individual girls welcomed! The cost for the event is $12, which includes the badge(s). Troop leaders and adults are free. Adults are welcome to stay but do not need to. You will be emailed an invoice through Square, and payment is due by August 1 to secure your spot(s). Register today!

Juniors and Cadettes: 1:00-3:00 PM

Calling all Juniors and Cadettes! Come to Historic Johnson Farm to earn the Cadette Tree Badge or the Junior Flower Badge. Together we will bake apples and do art. Cadettes will hunt for trees and learn about the human/tree connection. Meanwhile, Juniors will dissect a flower and draw flowers in a mini journal. This workshop will also involve planting trees and flowers. Troops or individual girls welcomed! Feel free to come early for a picnic lunch if you wish. The cost for the event is $12, which includes the badge. Troop leaders and adults are free. Adults are welcome to stay but do not need to.
