NCWiseOwl is a comprehensive, free resource provided for students and educators in North Carolina. Links to use Britannica, Ebsco, Explora and other helpful tools can be found on the NCWiseOwl site. You can find ebooks, primary sources, maps, help videos, and science, history & health information. It is easy to forget that we have these no-cost resources right at our fingertips.
In addition to access to NCWiseOwl, you can access a free course on NCDPI’s Canvas system called the NCWiseOwl Toolkit. Here you will find multiple tutorials on using the various components. One section that can be particularly helpful for us is the section on using the tools with Google Classroom. Feel free to explore all of the resources in the Toolkit, but we wanted to provide you with the video tutorials on sending Britannica, Explora, and EBSCO ebook resources directly to your Google Classroom.
In just a few minutes, you can take advantage of these free resources and provide them easily to your students in your Google Classroom!
