Henderson County Junior Historians: Come learn about the history of Henderson
County in an informal, fun setting! Meetings will include hands-on activities, speakers,
and field trips. Students will have input on what they want to do! For 4th-8th graders.
Meets 4th Thursday of the month from 4-4:45 PM.

Spring Break Tours: April 15 and 16 at 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Henderson County Public Schools are on Spring Break, so come on out for a tour and craft! Two tours each day. $5 adults, $3 students, free for under 5.

Teddy Bears’ Picnic: Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the farm for a teddy bear picnic! Perfect for ages 3-8. The event will include snacks, a craft, games, and more. Space is limited, so RSVP is required. Last year we sold out of spaces, so register soon by calling 828-891-6585 or emailing $5 per child.

Spring Festival: April 27 10-4. Come out to the farm for the annual spring festival! There will be live music, children’s games and activities, crafters, demonstrators, food, bake sale, farm animals, wagon rides, Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists, and more!

Summer Day Camp: July 8-12 and August 12-16. We are offering two sessions of a half-day camp for completed 3rd-5th graders. We will learn about the history of the farm while also having fun! Campers will help take care of our farm animals, participate in hands-on activities, play games, and more! Cost is $115, and camp runs 8:30 AM-12:30 PM. To register, go to this google form.
