Closing Out the 2020-2021 School Year

End of year reminders 20-21, person on laptop at desk

We know things get busy as you close down your classrooms and look forward to a break, whatever your plan may be for next school year. As we wind down from the challenges we have faced this year, we wanted to provide a few end-of-year reminders for you.

Adobe Spark

If you used Adobe Spark for creating items, please read on. In the 2021-2022 school year the way HCPS users login to Adobe Spark will change. For this reason you may lose created content in your Adobe Spark accounts. Please ensure that you save any graphics, videos, pages or images you want to keep before you leave for the summer. For more information on how you can save your items, view our document with directions for saving your Adobe Spark content.

Digital Learning PD Hub

Although our live sessions and online courses are closed for this year, if you’re in one of our online courses, please remember to complete all coursework before the June 11th deadline. We are busy updating our courses and will open 2021-2022 courses in July for those of you interested in completing sessions during the summer. Please check back in our Digital Learning PD Hub for courses that will begin in July. It’s a great opportunity to earn CEUs and hone your instructional technology expertise.

Leaving HCPS?

If you are headed to another HCPS site or leaving the district, don’t forget to check our instructions on steps to take in your Google account.

Questions, Comments, Suggestions

We work hard to try to provide the digital learning support you need in the classroom. If you have questions, comments, suggestions, success stories or anything else to share with us, please email the @Team. We want to hear what you have to say!

Whether you are working in summer school, taking a well-deserved break, returning to teach on the flex schedule in a few weeks, moving on to a new challenge, or retiring, we wish you a restful, joyful break!
