On December 9th through the 15th, people all over the world will celebrate coding and computer science by participating in Hour of Code events. We hope your school will have activities or lessons around this so that you can participate, as well. If you and your students use CS First, you may want to do the Code Your Hero activity, where students can code a hero from their every day life. You can also learn more about Hour of Code and register your school’s activity on the Hour of Code site. Need some ideas for activities? Hour of Code also has activities for your students from Preschool and up and from beginner level to a comfortable coder. Check out the activities and accept the challenge to let your students code for at least an hour!
