Revisions have been made to the 2015-2016 school calendars to reflect a change in the primary election day.
When the 2015-2016 school calendar was developed, May 3, 2016, was the scheduled primary election day. This day was designated as a workday with no students in school to accommodate the request by the Henderson County Election Board. The General Assembly has moved the primary election day to March 15, 2016, therefore the May 3 workday will be moved to March 15 for students on the Traditional and Early College schedule. Students on the Flex calendar are already scheduled to be out of school on March 15.
