Grant will support construction of a new cold-frame shade house for agriculture students
East Henderson High School’s FFA chapter is excited to announce that it has been selected to receive a 2025–2026 Grants for Growing award from Tractor Supply Company. This grant will fund the construction of a cold-frame shade house that will significantly expand learning opportunities within the school’s agricultural education program.
The new structure will allow students to grow a wider variety of plants, participate in hands-on horticulture projects, and develop valuable skills in plant production and management. It will also support community engagement efforts through plant sales, service projects, and student-led agricultural initiatives.
“We are grateful for Tractor Supply’s support of agricultural education and our FFA members,” said representatives from the East Henderson FFA Chapter. “This project will give our students meaningful, real-world experience that strengthens both their knowledge and their connection to agriculture.”
