Parents and Guardians, we need your help.
We are required by the state to offer a parent survey with the purpose of fulfilling a new North Carolina session law calling for the collection and reporting of data regarding all students’ access to digital devices and internet access at home.
This information will be used to help target areas of need and ensure that all students have adequate access to devices and the internet to access learning. Note that the information gathered will be kept private and confidential.
The survey will be administered through the Powerschool Parent Portal. It must be done on a computer or in a browser via the HCPS Powerschool link, and cannot be completed in the Powerschool app. Please refer to the Digital Device Parent Survey Directions for assistance with completing this. If you have any questions about the Parent Portal or access, please contact your school’s Data Manager.
