Semester 2 Attendance Recovery
Attendance matters. Please make every effort to be at school every day. Missing school means missing valuable instruction. Should a student go over 5 absences for one or more classes, they will have the following opportunities for attendance recovery throughout the semester.
Track Results
The track team had a tremendous performance at North Henderson before Spring Break. Our boys team finished 5th overall and our girls competed well. Here are top finishers from the meet:

| On Monday, March 9th, we hosted Eagle Flight Night for our rising 9th graders – the Class of 2030! It was a fantastic night showcasing our academic, club and extra curricular offerings, our counseling department, and our Freshman Academy. Attendees also enjoyed free popcorn and color-changing lemonade, as well as our Scholastic Book Fair. We can’t wait to officially welcome our Class of 2030 in August! | |
| On Tuesday, March 10th, East Henderson High School once again hosted the orchestra MPA event at our school. Mrs. Quinn worked tirelessly to plan for and execute this event, and we are so proud of her efforts to put on a great competition! On top of that, she led both the middle school and high school orchestras to incredible success: –7th grade Orchestra (The youngest musicians to play today!!) received an Excellent (a II!) –8th Grade Orchestra received a Superior Rating for the 2nd year in a row!–EHHS Orchestra received straight Superiors! All 4 judges gave us superiors!! |

On Thursday, March 12th, our Concert Band traveled to Brevard High School to perform our Band MPA and the ensemble received a rating of Superior (in grade terms, an A)! This is our equivalent to an EOC but instead of being based on individuals, it is a full group effort. The students have been putting in the work throughout the year and more so even with all the snow/ice. Congratulations to these band students and their fantastic leader, Mrs. Morris! Enjoy the band’s performance HERE. |

| On March 10th & 11th, a group of EHHS student leaders participated in the GEM (Girls EMpowered) panel for both Upward Elementary and Flat Rock Middle School. These ladies answered questions about what high school is like and just about anything else the GEM girls had to ask. Thank you to Jade, Nicki, Natalie, Addi & Marybeth! | |

On March 21st, Fluor Field (home of the Greenville Drive) hosted a high school baseball doubleheader as part of their pre-season amateur showcase, and our own Nickle Specncer sang the National Anthem between the games! Brody Taylor also got to be the bat boy for one of the teams at the same game. It was a great day for these two guys and their families. We are so proud of Nickle and Brody! |
