Logan Hudson (10th grade), Mayson Hyder (9th grade) and Mia Roberson (11th grade) all represented East High well at the 4A State Championships on Friday and Saturday. Mia finished the tournament as the state runner-up–an impressive finish for this junior. The future is BRIGHT for the War Eagle wrestling program, and we are proud of their strong season! Way to go, War Eagles!

Settle Your Lunch Accounts

Several students have accumulated lunch charges in the cafeteria. These charges must be paid off for students to remain in good standing with Child Nutrition. For seniors especially, unpaid charges will prevent them from receiving their diploma until charges are paid. To add money to your student’s account, please visit www.k12paymentcenter.com and log in. You can manage all of your children from one account.

If you would like to apply for free or reduced lunch, you may visit www.lunchapplication.com to fill out the application if you have not already done so this year. If you need help finding out what your child owes, please email our Child Nutrition Manager, Melanie Quann-Metcalf for assistance.

Congratulations to our 4-Time Conference Champs!

Join us in the Eddie Reneau Gym to cheer on our Eagles!

On Thursday, our chorus students spent the day with singers from all over Henderson County fine tuning their joint performance that evening – HCPSings. These students worked hard preparing the pieces for this event, and they did a great job collaborating with singers from other schools to create a beautiful finale of sorts in an evening concert at St. James Episcopal Church. Enjoy a clip of part of their performance in this video. Great leadership by Ms. Cullen and her fantastic group of singers!

Wyatt Price competed in the 2026 Western Regional SkillsUSA cabinetmaking competition.  He went up against a tough crowd of 16 students that included last year’s state competition winner.  Even though he did not place in the top 5, he represented East Henderson well.  Thanks to West Henderson for hosting a great event.
