Parents drop off their children during the first day of school at Edneyville Elementary School Monday morning. School officials said even with the new traffic pattern, because of the new school being built, everything went very well. The school also had the assistance of the Henderson County Sheriff Office VIP’s helping to direct traffic for both Monday and Tuesday. This years enrollment at the school is about 450 students.
