Good evening, Glenn Marlow families!

I certainly hope everyone had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving holiday, filled with great food, family, fellowship, rest, and maybe even some relaxation.

Today was a great day at Marlow Elementary, and we know these next few weeks are going to be filled with excitement leading up to the holiday break. As exciting as these events, lunches, parties, and activities can be, there is still much to be accomplished in the classroom. We work hard, and we have a lot of fun too, so let’s make these next three weeks a great one!!

I became aware that there may have been some technical difficulties with last week’s Monday Message, sent before the Thanksgiving holiday. If you were unable to view it and would like to do so, please view the Marlow Monday Message from last week.

Cafeteria Christmas Lunch for Grades 3-5 Parents

  • The Christmas lunch for our G3 – G5 parents is scheduled for Thursday, December 8th. Invitations should have come home (on green paper) last week, so please complete the form and send it back in if you plan on joining us. An adjusted lunch schedule for that day will be coming out soon, so 3-5 parents, be on the lookout for adjusted lunch times for the day.
  • Just like we had for our Thanksgiving lunch, we need parent volunteers to help with lunch service and delivering lunch to our K-2 classrooms. If you can help out that day, please use this form to sign up for a time slot. If you have any questions, please contact our PTO Volunteer Coordinator, Brandi Pilgrim, at brandi.pilgrim@yahoo.com.
  • Thanks so much. We hope to see you all there!

A Message from our Marlow PTO

  • From Dawn Steed, our Marlow PTO Co-President:

A Marlow “Box Tops” Challenge

  • Dear Marlow Family, we are kicking off a new Box Tops for Education leaderboard challenge that is running 011/21/2022 through 12/16/2022! The goal is to have your child’s classroom be in first place on the Fall Leaderboard. The winning class will earn a special reward party when they return from Winter Break!
  • Here’s how it works:
    • Make sure you are registered in the Box Tops app. If not, be sure to use the referral code LEEY04NE to give the school bonus tops!
    • Buy Box Tops products during the holiday season, and scan your receipt with the Box Tops app within 14 days of purchase. Digital receipts are also accepted! (a list of Box Tops items can be found on the website and the app).
    • After scanning your receipt, make sure Glenn C. Marlow Elementary School is your selected school in the app.
    • Tap on Give Credit to select your child’s classroom. You can scroll down to add a note with your child’s name or additional information on who should get credit.
    • The number of Box Tops earned with your receipt will be credited to the classroom you selected. Credits will not be dispersed properly if a classroom is not selected.
    • To see where your child’s classroom stands on our leaderboard, open the Box Tops app, tap on the school card on the Home screen and check out Fall Leaderboard on the school dashboard.
    • Want to give credit for a digital or email receipt? Go into the Box Tops app, tap on the My Earnings button at the top of the screen and tap on the transaction you’d like to credit. Scroll past the list of products and tap on Give Credit at the bottom of the screen. Then, select your child’s classroom.
    • Let’s have some fun and help Glenn C. Marlow Elementary School get our students what they need to succeed! Thank you, Lori Hayden – Box Tops Coordinator
