Bus 51 Thursday, October 1st

Unfortunately, due to a shortage of bus drivers, we cannot run our afternoon route for Bus 51 on Thursday, October 1st.  A call was sent out about this last Friday in hopes that it will give parents plenty of time to arrange alternate transportation for just that afternoon.  If you have an emergency transportation concern regarding this, please call the school and speak with Mrs. Amber Brown.

Important Update About Car Rider Line

Beginning Wednesday, September 30th, parents must have their GREEN car rider sign visible in order to pick their child up in the car rider line. If you arrive in the car rider line without the green sign visible, you will have to park and check your child out in the front office.

PTO Meeting Thursday, October 1st

There will be a PTO Meeting on Thursday, September 31st.  Please enter through the car rider entrance.  The meeting will be held in the art room.

Free and Reduced Meals Form

Photo of the Free And Reduced Meals Application

Have you filled out your HCPS Free & Reduced Meals application? If not, we ask that you please take a few moments to fill it out today. Even though meals are currently free to all students, we depend on these applications for much needed school funding.  Even if you do not anticipate being eligible for these meals, please complete the application.

Paper applications were sent home with students last week.  Please return your paper application to us here at school, or you may fill out your application online at http://www.lunchapplication.com. Only one application is needed per family. THANK YOU for your support!

Popcorn and a Movie!

October is Kindness and Bullying Awareness month!  To kick things off, we want to show a movie to our students with a great lesson about bullying and valuing each other’s differences.  The movie is called Spookley the Square Pumpkin.  During the school day on Thursday or Friday this week, each class will get to watch the movie and have popcorn.  The link will also be posted so that our remote learning students can watch at home.  Thank you to Mrs. Susan Garren for arranging this for our students!

We are Fantastic Fletcher Foxes,

We’re Fletcher Proud, Wildly Important too!

We Lead and Learn, We’re Growing everyday

Gaining the knowledge that will help us lead the way.

Inside of me there is a Growing Leader

And there’s a Leader also inside of you.

We are Fantastic Fletcher Foxes,

We’re Fletcher Proud, Wildly Important too!
