Schedule for Week 1 of Plan B
We are so exited to have our students back in the building! Next week is the first week of Plan B in Henderson County. Below is the schedule for next week. More information will be coming this week about your child’s schedule and transportation. If you have registered your child for remote learning, they will attend virtually everyday.
A Day Students – Last names beginning with letters A-K. There are a few students at Fletcher who had to be switched to B Day for various reasons. You will be contacted personally if this is true for your child.
B Day Students – Last names beginning with letters L-Z. There are a few students at Fletcher who had to be switched to A Day for various reasons. You will be contacted personally if this is true for your child.
In-Person Plan B Week 1 Schedule
- Monday, September 21st – Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade begin attending in person Monday-Friday from 8:00-3:00.
- Thursday, September 24th – 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Group A students begin with their first A Day. A Day students will attend in person on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00-3:00. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays they will attend virtually from 8:00-12:00.
- Friday, September 25th – 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Group B students begin with their first B Day. B Day students will attend in person on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:00-3:00. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays they will attend virtually from 8:00-12:00.
IMPORTANT Reminders for Week 1 of Plan B
- On days when students are at school in person, they need to bring a water bottle from home. Water fountains will not currently be used due to health concerns.
- Students are required by the state to wear a face mask at school and on the bus. Please send your child with a face mask if they have one. There will be regular mask breaks during the school day.
- Due to having our schedule accommodate remote learners, no class will have lunch before 12:00. Since our lunches will be later than usual, please send a snack with your child each day if you can.
- Students will need to bring their supplies with them when they start in person next week. For the list of school supplies for this school year, please click here.
Arrival and Dismissal for Car Riders on Plan B
- In person Plan B arrival and dismissal times are the same as a normal school year.
- Students can arrive in the car rider line in the mornings from 7:30-8:00.
- Students will be dismissed at 3:00 and car riders must be picked up by 3:30 in the afternoon.
Bus Transportation on Plan B
- Our school was very lucky to be upgraded to all new buses over the summer. Students/Families will receive a call this week with more information about which bus they will be riding this year.
- Due to varying numbers of students on A Days, B Days, and Wednesdays (virtual for 3-5 and in-person for K-2), bus route times will vary everyday. September 21st, 22nd, and 23rd will all run on a Wednesday bus route since only K-2 students ride those days. The A/B day bus schedule will begin on September 24th and 25th.
- Students are required to wear a mask on the school bus.
- Our new school buses have seat belts at every seat. All bus riders are also required to wear their seat belt.
- Due to limited capacity on school buses during Plan B, we cannot change a child’s form of transportation to bus unless notified 24 hours in advance.

Spirit Night
Our PTO will be having Spirit Night at Jack the Dipper in Fletcher on Thursday, September 24th from 12:00pm-9:00pm. Come join us for some cold ice cream and a warm waffle cone! Proceeds will benefit our school directly.
