School Calendar Change

  • Friday, October 16th is now a full student day.
  • Monday, October 19th there will be no school.  It is an Optional Teacher Workday.

Report Cards

Report cards for the first nine weeks will be sent home to in-person learners on October 22nd and 23rd.  Parents of remote learners may pick up their child’s report card in the front office anytime after October 22nd.

Parents, please remember that while student grades reflect their understanding of classroom content, the grades also reflect the student’s engagement in instruction and their completion of assignments.  While students are learning remotely, parents must ensure that their child is engaged in the online instruction and that they are completing assignments on time.

3-5 parents, please refer to the PowerSchool Parent Portal to check your child’s assignment grades.  If you have not accessed Parent Portal and need support with that, please contact our data manager, Christy Rogers, in the front office.  If you have questions about your child’s assignment grades, please reach out to the teacher.

Health Information:  Return to School

In order to maintain the safety of all of our students and staff, there are occasions when the Henderson County Department of Public Health will determine that a a child or group of children should temporarily quarantine and learn from home.  The Department of Public Health has developed these flowcharts to help our families understand when a child can return to school.
