Drive Thru Meet the Teacher and Materials Pick Up (1st-5th Grade)
On Thursday, August 13th from 2:30-5:30 – Drive Thru Meet the Teacher and Materials Pick Up for 1st-5th graders. You’ll drive up in our car rider line and you will be directed to meet your child’s teacher and receive a packet of materials from them that your child will need as they begin this school year with remote learning.
Reminder About Kindergarten Welcome Night
Kindergarten Family Welcome Night will be Thursday, August 13th. Kindergarteners are invited to attend with one or two family members at the time that corresponds with their last name. We are dividing students up by last name to limit the number of people in our building.
Kindergarteners with last names starting with the letters:
- A-G will attend from 5:30-6:00.
- H-O will attend from 6:15-6:45.
- P-Z will attend from 7:00-7:30.
Kindergarten and 1st Grade Remote Learning Training
We know how important it is to help our kindergarteners and first graders to make a connection with their teacher, and for them and their parents/caregivers to have a chance to get comfortable using the Chromebook and Google Classroom for remote learning.
So, for our Kindergarten and first grade students, we will be offering a Remote Learning Training with your child’s teacher. This will take place during the first 3 days of school, August 17-19. If your child is in Kindergarten or first grade, your child’s teacher will set up an appointment to have each child come in to school (along with one or two parents/caregivers) to be trained for remote learning. This will last about one hour.
