The Sheep Dog Club began as an anti-bullying club and then transformed into a Junior membership of the SheepĀ Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA). We are here to help the community with a primary focus on law enforcement, first responders, firefighters, and the military. We have the endorsement of SGTMAJ Lance Nutt, who is the founder and CEO of the organization, which is based in Arkansas, with the WNC local chapter onĀ South Rugby Road.
Our Club is having a Craft Fair and Food Truck Extravaganza here at West in the parking lot on Saturday, November 1, from 9-2, with food trucks beginning at 10 am. We currently have CrepesRus, Carolina Hibachi Grill, Haus Heidelburg, and Blue Sky Cafe, as well as the Sweet Retreat, B’s Sugarwerks, and Alle’s Sweet Treats. We are now looking for craft vendors who would be willing to pay a small fee to rent the space and sell their goods for the day. A rental space is only $40 if they bring their own tables or they can rent up to 2 tables for $50. All proceeds from this event will go toward the Sheep Dog Club Scholarship for graduating Seniors who are entering law enforcement, first responder training, firefighter school, and/or the military. If you are a vendor or know someone who has a business that would be willing to come and sell their goods, please share and have themĀ fill out our Google Form. I would love to have our parking lot full of all kinds of knick-knacks that people can purchase for their home, for their friends, or maybe even for the upcoming Holidays.
PleaseĀ SHARE WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOWĀ in the community andĀ COME OUTĀ to support our event on Saturday, November 1st.
