The West Henderson Band has a long tradition of excellence in both Marching Band and Concert Band. They have earned numerous first-place awards and Superior ratings. Students are consistently placed in All-County, All-District, and All-State Ensembles, as well as College Wind Ensemble upon graduation. Nearly 10% of the school population participates in the band program and they enjoy contributing to the school and community through concerts, pep rallies, football games, and the graduation ceremony. In addition to a high-quality music education, students learn the values of pride, dedication, responsibility, and conscientiousness.
