The HHS Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is a voluntary organization whose goal is to support their school, encourage parent involvement, support teachers, and organize family events that will build community within our school. We strive to bring all together to help with fund-raising, and other activities relating to the welfare of the school. Our PTO is dedicated to providing timely, practical information and serves as a communication vehicle for parents, teachers and students to stay informed and engaged in all of the “happenings” at HHS. Message from our Principal – Please do not call the school office to sign your child out to go off campus for lunch. We believe students should be at school the entire day unless they have a reason that requires they should be out – such as a doctor’s appointment. Unnecessary sign-outs cause a disruption to the normal school day and also create a safety issue when students leave campus in their cars and rush to get lunch. FROM THE OFFICE: If your child is going to be absent from school, please call the office to let them know. This includes absences for sickness, doctor’s visits, college visits, etc. Also, if you know your child needs to be released early, please send a note with them that day and avoid a phone call.
SENIOR PARENTS: Senior scholarship bulletins will start going out in early September. These bulletins are used to post scholarship information we are aware of. Any parent who wishes to receive these bulletins to their email, just needs to contact Mr. Kealy or Ms. McKenzie. Contact the guidance counselors.
