A Word from the Athletic Director

Dear North Henderson Families and Students,
As the spring sports season winds down, we want to take a moment to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of all
our athletes and coaches. It’s been an exciting season filled with memorable moments, teamwork, and determination. A special
congratulations goes out to the boys’ track 4×200 relay team for breaking a 27-year-old school record—an incredible
accomplishment that will be remembered for years to come. Also, hats off to our baseball team for finishing second in the
conference, a testament to their perseverance and hard work.
We are proud of every athlete who represented our school this spring. Your commitment has not gone unnoticed from track to
softball, tennis to golf, and every team in between. The energy and effort you brought to practices and competitions reflect the
strength of our athletic community. Thank you to our coaches as well, who guide, motivate, and inspire our students to be their
best.
With the end of the school year approaching, we find ourselves in a familiar yet emotional place. It’s time to say “see you later”
(because we never like to say goodbye) to our seniors, while welcoming new faces ready to make their mark. It’s a cycle we
experience every year—one that’s never easy—but it reminds us of the legacy each class leaves behind and the excitement of
what’s to come. Once a Knight, always a Knight! We are proud of our seniors for all they have achieved and look forward to
watching the next generation rise to the challenge.
Summer workouts are now being posted, and while they are not mandatory in name, they are essential for any athlete who wants
to improve and continue growing in their sport. Offseason training is where champions are built—it’s the time to refine skills, build
strength, and prepare mentally and physically for the next season. Commitment in the offseason often makes the biggest
difference during the season. If you need information about workout schedules, please reach out to me or your coaches. Let’s use
the summer to build momentum for even greater success next year.
Finally, thank you to all our athletes for your accomplishments this year. You’ve made us proud every
step of the way. A huge thank you as well to our supporters, business partners, and booster club—your
encouragement and contributions have made a lasting impact. This year brought challenges we never
expected—from hurricanes to forest fires—but through it all, we came together the way we always do:
as a family and a community. Here’s to finishing strong and moving forward, together.
Go Knights!

Giving Thanks to our Donors

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Premium sponsors—Pardee, Turf Mountain Sod, Horizon Heating & Air, Frank’s Hardscape, and Parks Ford—
for their exceptional support contribution, and dedication to our community. A special thank you to Parks Ford for their thoughtful teacher gifts at
the start of the school year. Additionally, we are grateful to our Gold sponsors—Bojangles, Apple Country Realty, Ebenezer Baptist Church, and
Mountain Credit Union—for their generous contributions and dedication to our community. Lastly, a big thanks to all the businesses supporting
North Henderson Athletics for their commitment and generosity.
Some of our Knight parent and guardian members likely work at companies that offer corporate giving programs, like matching gifts. Matching gifts
are an underused source of funding for nonprofits, including K-12 schools. When a parent or guardian whose employer has a matching gift program
donates to our school, they can contact their employer to get their gift matched.
This means you can effectively double the impact of your donations. If you are looking to donate to North, inquire about your employer’s matching
gift programs! K-12 schools must be included to qualify.
