Week of 12/14-18/2020
As we head into the last 7 school days of the first semester, it is NOT TOO LATE to submit work and get caught up. At this point, however, there is no more time to waste. Please check PowerSchool and Google Classroom for your student’s progress and contact teachers or the office if you have questions. Students and families should work directly with teachers to get any work submitted.
VIRTUAL STUDENTS: If you wish for your student to attend fully virtual for the second semester of the school year (January-June, 2021), it is vital that you complete the enrollment for the REMOTE LEARNING OPTION . This needs to be completed for semester two by Friday, December 18.
Success in classes is directly connected to their attendance and participation in their virtual classes. Their engagement with the teachers and the content is necessary for their growth.
FACE TO FACE STUDENTS:
We can’t say enough how important it is that you and your face to face student communicate with teachers regarding any times when you can’t attend on his/her face to face days.
Math 1 students will be taking their Check-in Monday and Tuesday of this week.
As COVID infections tick up in our community, it is more important than ever that we are vigilant with ourselves and our students regarding their face coverings. We continue to be impressed with how well our students have done with this, but we will remind students and adults if needed.
While we are very limited in our ability to watch our athletes, the outdoor events and athletics live stream gives us the chance to to watch some of the performances and use that to further our relationships with our students. RMS Athletics Live Stream . This week, both our Volleyball and Cross Country teams will be competing for conference championships; please encourage these students this week.
