Message from Mr. Moore – Week of 9/14-18/2020

Rugby words from the principal
Due to the age of this article, the information below could be outdated or incorrect.

Good Morning, Raider families. I hope you all had a wonderful and restful weekend!

I would like to begin by thanking our families and our teachers for the high levels of student engagement we have experienced in our first four weeks of school. The preparation of our teachers and the emphasis our families have placed on learning have led to an engaged and productive start to school, despite the challenging circumstances. Please know how much we appreciate both groups.

Progress Reports for the first quarter will be ready for viewing this Wednesday, September 16. On Wednesday afternoon, parents and students will receive an emailed version of their progress report. Please examine these closely with your students and communicate any concerns or questions to the teacher. If we work together to address these concerns now, students have time to improve on their performance.

As most of you know by now, the HCPS School Board voted to bring students back for a hybrid version of face to face instruction. All of the information about our Return to Learn is housed on our district website and can be accessed here. This link contains a wealth of information, so please check it out and let us know if you have any questions.

IMPORTANT: If you need to communicate any changes regarding your family’s plan as it relates to returning to instruction, please notify your student’s RT teacher. It is vital that we have accurate information as we make plans to begin with limited capacity. We ask that you let us know this week if you need to make any changes to your plans for your student’s return.

If you have questions or concerns, we ask that you reach out directly to us- through email or phone-so we can address your questions.

We hope you all have a great week!
