Open House-
6th Grade Open House is Tuesday, September, 24, 2019. The event will begin at 6:00 pm and last until 7:30 pm. To begin the event, parents and teachers should gather in the gym at 6:00 pm, and after a brief introduction, families will be released to your studentâs classrooms.
First Quarter Midterms:
This Wednesday, September 25 marks the half-way point of our first quarter, and Midterm Progress Reports will be available at that time. Please check PowerSchool to get an accurate view of current student progress. If you wish to have a paper copy of progress reports and report cards, please let your studentâs teachers know.
Individual EOG Scores
Reports for Math (from 2018-19) will be sent home on Thursday of this week. These are the reports you are accustomed to receiving at the end of the school year. Math scores were delayed last year due to a new test.
Candy Sale Time:
Rugbyâs major fundraiser of the year kicks off this week. Be looking for information coming home this week about selling Worldâs Finest Chocolate to help the school supplement the Instructional Technology available to our students. There are also options if you would like to support the school, but donât wish for your student to sell candy.
Flu Clinic:
Our In-School Flu Vaccine Clinic will take place on Friday, October 11. More details to come.
Rugby Reading Raiders:
Rugby offers a unique monthly opportunity for students and families to engage in a âbook clubâ together. Rugby Reading Raiders offers families the chance to read the same books and complete activities designed by students. The first Reading Raiders of the 2019-20 school year will be held in the RMS Media Center on Tuesday, October 15 at 6:15.

Volunteer Opportunity: In an effort to better support Rugby staff, REP is seeking a weekly volunteer to help with teacher requests including, but not limited to:
copying
filing
sorting
assisting office staff with clerical duties
counting – papers to go home
assisting different teachers with clerical duties
