Rising Freshman Class Registration

Itâs almost time to register for high school classes for the 2025-2026 school year!
Please check your email for an electronic version of The Freshman Registration Handbook, which includes important dates, course options, course descriptions, and other important class registration information.
2025-2026 Registration Timeline:
January 13: Freshmen Registration Materials and Information available online and pushed out via: PS Messenger, Parent Email/texts, Student Email and Google Classrooms.
January 16: at 6 pm: NHHS hosts an information session and Knight Vision: See Your Path for parents. At Knight Vision, youâll have the chance to explore various course options, extracurricular activities, career technical pathways, clubs, sports, and more. This event will help you envision your high school journey and begin thinking about your 4-year academic plan to support your long-term goals.
January 17: 8th-grade students visit Knight Vision during Exploratory classes.
January 22: NHHS counselors visit 8th-grade Social Studies classrooms to review the course registration process and expectations for high school and graduation requirements and answer any questions students may have about the transition to high school. PowerSchool registration opens today and will remain open until January 31 at 3pm. Students are responsible for entering their freshmen elective choices (3 courses and 3 alternate courses) in PowerSchool. Students may also make changes to submitted requests anytime during this window (January 22-January 31).
January 31: PowerSchool Class Registration Portal closes at 3pm. Students double-check their course requests in PowerSchool and turn in their Registration Worksheet to their Social Studies teacher.
