As we approach the beginning of the 2020-21 school year, I wanted to let you know about a few important items. First off, students will have PowerSchool access to their finalized schedules next Monday, August 10. During the week of August 10-14, you should expect to be contacted by your child’s homeroom teacher, who will provide you with information about how to log in to begin school on Monday, August 17.
If you need to check out a school Chromebook, we request that you come to the school on either Wednesday, August 12 between 12 pm and 4 pm or on Thursday, August 13 between 8 am and 12 pm. If you are unable to come during those times, you may come by at any time on Friday, August 14, 7:00 am-4:00 pm. If your student already has an HCPS Chromebook, he or she may keep that and use it for this school year.
Currently, all middle school athletics have been postponed until at least September 1. This includes tryouts, practices and contests. If you have questions regarding athletics, please contact our Athletic Director, Justin McKenzie at 828-891-6566 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
