Good Afternoon,

We hope that you and your family are safe and well.Ā  While I will be sending a call tomorrow afternoon regarding our 8th Grade Drive Thru Celebration, I wanted to give you all a heads up about theĀ Rugby Middle School Awards Ceremony for 2019-2020.Ā  We are presenting these awards virtually and have worked hard to have the virtual ceremony prepared to be shared on Thursday of this week (6/4).Ā  These awards are an important cultural event for our school, and they are very important to the students who have set their eyes on a goal and worked to achieve that goal over the last three years.Ā  Three years of perfect attendance, three years of straight A’s, Scholar Athlete awards, arts recognition, academic honors and many others are all phenomenal achievements that warrant celebration, so we are going to celebrate.

COVID has taken enough from our kids, and I refuse to allow it to take thisĀ spotlight away from our amazing students who have worked so hard and deserve this recognition.Ā  To that end, IĀ invite you to join us atĀ 6:00 pm Thursday, June 4Ā for a virtual viewing party of theĀ Rugby Middle School Awards Ceremony for 2019-2020.Ā  On Thursday afternoon, you will receive a link by email (link will also be available on our social media feeds and our website).Ā  The link will be active at 6:00 pm and will remain active indefinitely.Ā  Please gather with your immediate family and the extended Rugby familyĀ to celebrate an amazing (and very odd) school year and to celebrate your 8th grader’s accomplishments at Rugby.Ā  We sincerely hope that at 6:00 pm Thursday we can celebrate together, despite being separate.
