Welcome to 2020 everyone!
I truly hope that you folks had a restful break and are recharged and ready to support your students as our teachers try to challenge them with their academic content. Students should be well-rested and ready to meet the challenges placed before them, but school-family partnerships help us to take full advantage of this very productive phase of the school year.
To that end, we are nearing the conclusion of the first semester of our school year. As of January 17, we will be halfway through the 2019-2020 school year. Please feel free to check in with teachers regarding your student’s performance if you have concerns. Family access to PowerSchool gives you the opportunity to keep abreast of your student’s academic status. If you need help accessing this helpful tool, please call the school for assistance.
January 20 and 21, 2020 are scheduled teacher workdays. There will be no school for students on those days.
Our Winter Sports are into the home stretch, with year end tournaments coming at the end of January. Take the time to come out and support our student athletes over the next few weeks.
