Thank you all so much for helping 40 WHHS families have a Thanksgiving dinner. I am overwhelmed by the very generous personal donations, club donations, class donations, and community donations we received this year. It always amazes me how each year we have just enough of everything to help our WHHS families. Thank you to those who stopped me in the hall, e-mailed, etc to ask what else we needed and picked up those items. Thank you to those who continue to help each and every year!
We put together 40 dinners including a turkey, pie, rolls, fixings, and a gift card to Ingles.
Also, a HUGE thank you to my behind the scene helpers!! Thank you to the 45 CTE club members for helping put the dinners together. Thank you to the CTE department for helping get community donations, getting any last minute food items and turkeys, and adding the final touches to make these dinners extra special. Thank you to those of you who had your classes or clubs collect food or monetary donations since I know many of you helped! Thank you to our awesome guidance office/front office staff for helping get meals distributed and delivered. This would not be as successful and organized without each of you.
