6th Grade Orientation<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are excited to announce that we will be offering an optional face-to-face sixth grade orientation that students may attend in person or via a virtual program.\u00a0 For this program, we will be inviting new sixth graders into Rugby in three different groups.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Monday August 17, 2020<\/strong>– Students whose last names begin with A-G (other students do not need to report, either online or in person).<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tuesday, August 18, 2020<\/strong>– Students whose last names begin with H-O (other students do not need to report, either online or in person).<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wednesday, August 19, 2020<\/strong>– Students whose last names begin with P-Z (other students do not need to report, either online or in person).<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thursday, August 20, 2020<\/strong>– All students report to their virtual classes at 8:00 am.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

6th Orientation Schedule<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

12:00-12:30- Parents drop students after screening protocols are met (temperature check, screening questions).\u00a0 Students are escorted to the proper classroom<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

12:30- Orientation Program Begins.\u00a0 Students will cover the following:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

-Get to know you activity<\/span><\/p>\n

-Reading and understanding the schedule<\/span><\/p>\n

-Logging in to Gmail and Google Classrooms<\/span><\/p>\n

-Google Meet Etiquette<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2:30- Student Pick up<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

IMPORTANT<\/strong><\/p>\n

School staff will follow CDC the following recommended protocols for any students or visitors entering the building:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

-students will have temperatures screened prior to parents dropping them off<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

-face coverings will be worn while in the building\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

-social distancing will be observed<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
