It was a great week for Fine Arts at RMS! \u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Our 8th Grade Strings group earned straight superiors at their MPA performance in Charlotte. \u00a0In Mrs. Dennis\u2019 words, it was \u201cThe best they\u2019ve ever played!\u201d Congratulations to Mrs. Dennis and her 8th graders. \u00a0Mrs. Rhodes-Johnson had 7 young artists featured in the Henderson County Arts Council\u2019s Artists of Tomorrow Show. 8th Grader Paisley Stepp won a third place for her submission. \u00a0Congratulations to all of the artists and Mrs. Rhodes-Johnson. Again, I am amazed by the amount of well-rounded talent of our teachers and students!<\/span><\/p>\n

Spring Picture day is Tuesday, 3\/19<\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/h2>\n

Lifetouch partners with HCPS to offer families the chance to get a high quality photos of their student and help the school. \u00a0A portion of the proceeds of all picture packages comes directly back to the school!<\/span><\/p>\n

Behaviors<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With the long, wet and dreary winter drawing to a close, students and adults alike are itching for the upcoming <\/span>Spring Break (April 15-19, 2019)<\/span>. \u00a0That said, negative student behaviors generally increases during this time of the school year. \u00a0Take this opportunity to encourage your student to recognize this and to exercise good judgment while at school. \u00a0It is among our top priorities to keep students in class and on task, and disruptive behaviors limit the amount of learning that we can accomplish. \u00a0Encourage your kids to do their part to maintain a focused, productive learning environment!<\/span><\/p>\n
