ANIMATION AND ART CLUB<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Mr Woods is feeling under the weather today and won’t be able to host Art and Animation Club Today.We will meet together next Monday in a joint session with our Tabletop gaming club.<\/p>\n

ART POEMS ESSAYS<\/strong>
\nMountain Xpress\u00a0is now accepting art, poems and essays for their 2019 Kids Issues, our annual two-part extravaganza featuring the creative work of Western North Carolina K-12 students. If you are interested in submitting a piece of art see Mrs. Johnson (the Art Teacher) \u00a0for more details. The deadline is February 8th.<\/p>\n

ARTISTS SHOW<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attention artist! There is an art show coming up and we are looking for quality work. See Mrs. Johnson for more information. Please do not submit work that is wrinkled, on lined paper, or unfinished work. Photography will be accepted for this show as well as paintings, drawings, and sculpture<\/p>\n

BUILDERS CLUB<\/strong><\/p>\n

RMS Builder\u2019s Club will meet on the 4th Thursday of Every month from 7:15-7:45 in Mrs. Kicklighter\u2019s Room, E-209.<\/p>\n

We are collecting CANNED cat food, cat toys, and cat litter for our local shelter. Drop you donations off in E209 between Feb. 5 and 25th! Thanks!<\/p>\n

CHIVALRY CLUB<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our next meeting will be February 6th.<\/p>\n

GOLF<\/strong><\/p>\n

A golf team informational meeting will be Monday February 11th @ 7:45 in the gym with Coach Swayngim.\u00a0 If you can not attend you must see Coach Swayngim for the missed information.<\/p>\n

READING RAIDERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The next Reading Raider Party…Please promote to your students that\u00a0Between Shades of Gray\u00a0by Ruta Sepetys will be the next Reading Raider book on February 12.\u00a0 We are selling the books in the media center for $5.00 as long as they last.<\/p>\n

SPRING SPORTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Softball –\u00a0Tryouts are February 11 (6th & 7th), February 12 (8th) and February 13th (all grades) from 3:30 – 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n

Soccer\u00a0\u00a0– Sign up in one of the following places: Girl’s Locker Room, Ms. Haynes’ Room, or Coach D’s Room.<\/p>\n

Track\u00a0– Sign up in the boys or girls locker room.\u00a0 Tryouts are February 11.<\/p>\n
