Knights Vs Cancer<\/h1>\n

\u00a8Vs Cancer\u00a8 is an organization whose mission is to empower communities, high schools, sports teams, and athletes to help support kids with cancer. Vs Cancer splits between child life programs in local hospitals and national pediatric brain tumor research. We, the North Henderson Knights, teamed up with Vs. Cancer in 2008, and has raised thousands of dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

What is Knights Vs Cancer?<\/h2>\n

An event hosted by our North Henderson Family to raise funds and awareness for the fight against cancer. Our goal is to get every school member to join the cause. Teams, clubs, and classes host various events to raise money and awareness throughout the year. Towards the end of the year, we host a big fundraiser to help the cause.<\/td>\n

Where does the money go?<\/h2>\n

The proceeds from the festival and additional KVC
\nevents throughout the year go to the Vs. Cancer Foundation.
\nThe Vs. Cancer Foundation splits its profits between
\nchild life programs in local hospitals and national pediatric
\nbrain tumor research in association with the Pediatric Brain
\nTumor Foundation.<\/p>\n

How do I get involved?<\/h2>\n

NHHS Faculty: Sponsor a team or host an event<\/p>\n

NHHS Students: Get a group, including an adult sponsor, and
\nhost an event before our Knights Vs. Cancer Festival or
\nopen both nights off.<\/p>\n

Community Members: We would love to have support from
\nThe community at our festival on May 8th.<\/td>\n
