\nSchool starts at 8 AM with the first bell at 7:50; the tardy bell rings at 8:00. Students should be in the classroom at that time. The school day ends at 3:00 pm. The busses exit the parking area at\u00a03:05 and car rider line begins at 3:00 pm.<\/p>\n
\nThe average class size is approximately 22-23 students.<\/p>\n

\nFamily members can visit their child during lunch. Please pre-arrange other school visits with your child’s teacher.<\/p>\n
\nIf you would like to pick up homework for your child, please call the office in the morning. The office will notify the teacher. The teacher will have your child’s work ready for pick up in the office in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
\nTeachers are not allowed to give medicine to a child without proper authorization from the parent. For over-the-counter medications, parents must fill out a Medication Form in the office authorizing the administering of the medication. For copies of the Medication Authorization Form visit the HCPS Student Health website.<\/a> If the medication is a prescription drug, the form must be signed by the doctor.<\/p>\n
