Forest Bathing Sessions at Historic Johnson Farm<\/h3>\n

Escape the daily rush of modern life, step back in time, and surround yourself with nature during one of our guided forest bathing sessions this summer. These immersive sessions invite you to unplug from the modern rush and slow down among our 100-year-old buildings, peaceful pastures, and ancient trees. Unlike a strenuous hike, this 2.5 hour experience allows the quiet rhythm of the farm to gently lower your stress levels and restore your energy.<\/p>\n

You will engage your senses in a series of guided invitations designed to connect you deeply with the setting around you. Each session concludes with a tea ceremony using herbs grown on the farm and light snack leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed.<\/p>\n

Our sessions will be led by certified Forest Therapy Guide, Lisa Wilson. Lisa trained with the Shinrin Yoku Association in Nara, Japan before coming here.\u00a0 Visit her website at\u00a0EarthforaPillow.org\u00a0for more information about the growing list of health benefits this practice offers.\u00a0 Each session is unique and offers different ways to enrich your connection to nature and the farm.\u00a0 Each session has limited spots available.<\/p>\n

Sessions are $50 each:

\nYou may consider our package rate ($125) if you sign up for all three summer sessions. Once this form is received<\/a>, you will receive an emailed invoice from Square to pay online. Payment is due a week before the session.<\/p>\n

These sessions are offered for anyone ages 16 and up. If you have younger people interested, please reach out to us to schedule something for them.<\/p>\n

Junior Interpreters: Year-round<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Junior Interpreters meet once a month after school to help out around the farm. They also help with our special events throughout the year and serve as junior counselors for the day camps. If you are interested in being added to the email list for the group, please email jfarm@hcpsnc.org. You do not have to attend every meeting-just the ones when you can!<\/p>\n
