Booking for 2026-2027 field trips will open Monday, August 3. We also welcome homeschool groups; please call for more information. Field trips are free for HCPS schools and cost $5 a student for other districts; homeschool groups, private schools, etc.<\/h2>\n

All field trips include a tour of the farm house, wagon ride, visit with the farm animals, and a number of hands-on, interactive rotations based on the students’ grade level. Rotations are listed below. Groups are welcome to end their trip with a picnic lunch.<\/p>\n

Junior Interpreters<\/h2>\n

Junior Interpreters is a club open to any students in 6th-8th grade. Club members learn about volunteering at the farm and help out with special events and day camps.\u00a0 If you are interested in being added to the club’s email list, please email jfarm@hcpsnc.org.<\/p>\n
