There are videos and articles to enrich understanding of a wide variety of topics.\u00a0 Additionally there are many images, maps and multimedia resources available.<\/p>\n<p>To access this resource, first go to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncwiseowl.org\/\">NCWiseOWl home page<\/a>.\u00a0 Then click on the <em><strong>General Reference<\/strong><\/em> button. Once on this page, you will find separate links for elementary, middle and high school Britannica School. NCWiseOwl also provides users with <a href=\"https:\/\/ncdpi.instructure.com\/courses\/1276\/pages\/tutorials-and-guides-britannica\">tutorials and guides for using Britannica<\/a>.\u00a0 These tutorials include resources for both educators and students.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the wonderful resources in this free-to-use tool provided by NCWiseOwl include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Biographies<\/li>\n<li>Fast Facts<\/li>\n<li>Articles<\/li>\n<li>Quotes<\/li>\n<li>Relevant and Current Articles<\/li>\n<li>Tour the USA<\/li>\n<li>World Atlas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For teachers there is a lesson plan browser and links for professional development and support. You can browse by state standards, subject and grade level. If educators create a login account to Britannica, content can be saved so that it can be more readily available for use in instruction.
