utilizing the Internet. \u00a0Additionally, students receive education on Internet Safety from their schools. \u00a0Each school has an annual Internet Safety Instructional Plan which describes the manner in which the school will instruct students on safe and appropriate use of online resources. \u00a0Teachers have access to Internet Safety resources on the HCPS Moodle which are categorized into grade level appropriate areas. \u00a0We will continue to provide these resources to support the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dpi.nc.gov\/districts-schools\/districts-schools-support\/digital-teaching-and-learning\/digital-teaching-learning-standards\">NC Essential Standards for Information and Technology<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ftc.gov\/enforcement\/rules\/rulemaking-regulatory-reform-proceedings\/childrens-online-privacy-protection-rule\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COPPA<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fcc.gov\/guides\/childrens-internet-protection-act\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CIPA<\/a> guidelines.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Additional
