Henderson County Public Schools is implementing a new school notification system called SwiftK12 on July 1. This notification system is loaded with new features that will make it easier for us to keep in contact with your family. As we get closer to the start of the new school year, we\u2019ll remind families how to confirm their contact information is accurate and up-to-date at all times to guarantee the notification system is used efficiently.<\/p>\n
SwiftK12 allows the district and our school to send messages using phone, email and SMS text messaging. Please note, families will no longer receive notifications through SchoolMessenger.<\/p>\n
Phone calls from Henderson County Early College<\/strong><\/em> will be sent from (828) 609-0265<\/strong><\/em> with the caller ID \u201cEarly College<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d You may want to add this phone number to your address book to help you recognize incoming calls from the school easily. In case you miss the call, a new \u201chotline\u201d feature will allow you to call this number back and replay the message an unlimited number of times. Text messages will be sent from \u201cHCEC<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d Please note you will not be able to reply to text messages sent from the school. Emails from Early College will be sent from hendersoncountyearlycollege@hcpsnc.org<\/strong><\/em>.*<\/p>\n District-wide phone calls from HCPS<\/strong><\/em> will be sent from (828) 609-0266<\/strong><\/em> with the caller ID \u201cHCPS District<\/strong><\/em>,\u201d text messages will be sent from \u201cHCSD<\/strong><\/em>\u201d (for Henderson County School District) and district emails will be sent from hcps@hcpsnc.org<\/strong><\/em>.*<\/p>\n *Unless a return email address is assigned to a specific district\/school staff contact.<\/p>\n We look forward to using this new, efficient, and flexible school notification system to better communicate with our families.
