{"id":2373,"date":"2021-01-24T18:35:44","date_gmt":"2021-01-24T23:35:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hendersoncountypublicschoolsnc.org\/child-care\/?page_id=2373"},"modified":"2024-08-05T12:33:14","modified_gmt":"2024-08-05T16:33:14","slug":"annual-enrollment","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.hendersoncountypublicschoolsnc.org\/child-care\/home\/annual-enrollment\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual Enrollment"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Eligibility &amp; Enrollment<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-size: 1.25em; line-height: 1.5;\"><em>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Current Henderson County Public Schools elementary students K-5th grade (not exceeding age 12) are eligible for HCPS Child Care Services.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Register your child at the <a style=\"font-size: 1.5em;\" href=\"\/core\/child-care-registration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Child Care Portal.<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/app.tango.us\/app\/workflow\/Getting-started-with-HCPS-Child-Care-Parent-Portal-f60149ee00e14553a631f98012d11e1a\">Parent&#8217;s step-by-step instructions for the portal.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Enrollment Fees<\/h3>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>PSAM &amp; PSPM programs:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 120px;\"><em><strong>A non-refundable enrollment fee of $40.00 per child or $50.00 per family is required at the time of enrollment<\/strong>.<\/em> If a child attends both programs, only one yearly enrollment fee will be charged.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Summer PLUS:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\"><em><strong>A non-refundable enrollment fee of $60.00 per child<\/strong><\/em> includes a T-shirt to wear on field trips. Enrollment is held in early spring, and there is no family cap on enrollment for the Summer PLUS program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To enroll:<\/strong> complete the forms below and return to a Child Care Co-Coordinator. To complete the enrollment packet, parents\/guardians will need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parent\/guardian work number, cell number<\/li>\n<li>Doctor\u2019s name and phone number<\/li>\n<li>Emergency contact names and phone numbers (at least three contacts other than parents)<\/li>\n<li>Insurance or Medicaid information (if applicable) and policy number<\/li>\n<li>Immunization records<\/li>\n<li>Recent small wallet size photo of child (preferably in color)<\/li>\n<li>List of those authorized to pick up child and phone numbers<\/li>\n<li>Custody papers (if applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Parents\/guardians will also be required to complete and sign a Fee Payment Agreement and Discipline Contract in the HCPS Child Care Handbook, and a CACFP \u201cSnack\u201d Enrollment Form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Required forms. Completed enrollment forms must be signed and returned to the Child Care Co-Coordinator before a child may attend any of the programs. You may use our <a href=\"\/core\/child-care-registration\/\">Child Care Portal<\/a> to simplify the process.
