Our Academically and Intellectually Gifted Plan provides for services to students in K-12th grade and is approved by the State of North Carolina&#8217;s Department of Public Instruction.<\/p>\n<p>Programs extend and enhance the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. AIG Specialists are employed to serve each elementary, middle and high school by screening, advocacy, consulting and teaching. An AIG Committee at each school oversees identification which includes mass screening at the third and sixth grades.
