Meet Our 2022-2023
Teacher of the Year

I am so honored and humbled to be named Henderson County Teacher of the Year. I began my teaching career as a middle and high school special education teacher in Texas and Buncombe County and am starting my tenth year in 4th grade here at Marlow.

I have three children, one at NC State, one at App State, and one married and working in Raleigh. I love to run, hike, and spend time with my family and friends. At Marlow, I run the talent show, help with Run Club and STEM club, and lead the Recycling Team.

My passions as a teacher are helping kids find good fit books, making learning fun, and being a part of the amazing 4th grade team.
