Good evening Glenn Marlow students and parents, this is John Hart, principal of Glenn Marlow Elementary School. We are almost there! As we wrap up this very unique 2019 – 2020 school year, I want to provide you information regarding next week’s material / student belongings collection for all students and grade levels. We will facilitate material and student belonging collection with grade level days and times. To keep next week running as smooth as possible, it will be important for you to attempt to come on the day and time assigned for your student’s grade level, which is as follows:
Monday, June 1st: First Grade/Ms King’s Class from 8:30 – 12 noon.
Tuesday, June 2nd: Third Grade from 8:30 – 12 noon; Second Grade from 12 noon – 3:30.
Wednesday, June 3rd: Kindergarten (After drive-thru graduation 11 am – 1 pm. *Material collection will be in the bus lot.)
Thursday, June 4th: Fifth Grade (After drive-thru graduation 10 am – 12 noon. *Material collection will be in the bus lot.)
Friday, June 5th: Fourth Grade from 8:30 – 12 noon.
Friday, June 5th from 12 – 3:30 pm: Anyone who has not yet come.
Once again, to keep next week running as smooth as possible, it will be important for you to attempt to come on the day assigned for your student’s grade level. If you are unable to make the time provided, please contact your child’s teacher for additonal arrangements. As stated in Friday’s Community Update, we will not be collecting student Chromebooks next week during this collection time. Student Chromebooks will be collected later in the summer, the week of July 27.
Just like our first collection, we will have the Pardee/UNC Health Donation Bin out in the front entrance, marked with cones on each side. Parents, we ask that you place all completed work in a sealed plastic bag with your child’s name, teacher and grade level on it. If you do not have a bag, there will be some on site on a table next to the bin for you to use.
If you have any questions about next week’s school materials and student belongings collection, please do not hesitate to call the school, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact your child’s teacher. Thank you, and have a good evening.
