Marlow Monday Message, May 11th, 2020

Henderson County Public Schools News

Good evening Glenn Marlow parents and students, this is John Hart with your Marlow Monday Message on this Monday, May 11th. I hope everyone had a great weekend and all of our Buckaroo Mom’s had a wonderful Mother’s Day!

Here are this week’s news and notes:

  • The show must go on! The 2020 Marlow Talent Show is a go and this year, it’s going virtual! Today and all this week, students are receiving a Google form in their Morning Announcement email that allows them to express their interest in participating in the Marlow Virtual Talent Show. Any students that are interested in participating in the Virtual Talent Show must submit an Interest Form. In summary, students will submit a ‘Talent Show video”, showcasing their talents, to a Google classroom. Once all the submissions are in and the deadline has passed, we will compile all of them together in a video and send the URL link out for all to watch! Marlow’s Got Talent, so let’s showcase it for all to see. If interested, please fill out the Marlow Virtual Talent Show Interest Form Google Form. This is due May 18th.
  • 2020-2021 Kindergarten registration is live! Please visit the HCPS website OR our school website to access the online registration. You may also access it by going to the Kindergarten enrollment website. This online form can be accessed by smartphone or computer, and parents will be asked to upload required documents, i.e…birth certificate and proof of residence. If you are unable to complete this at home, we do have a KI Registration Chromebook set up at Marlow in the main hallway, including sanitizer and wipes to keep everything clean. If you need any help completing this form, please do not hesitate to call the school (828) 654-3225.
  • Attention 5th Grade (rising 6th grade) parents: tomorrow, you will be receiving information about links containing a virtual tour through Rugby Middle School. As well, you will be getting information on how to sign your child up for RMS 6th grade Band/Strings, if you so choose. Be on the lookout!

Thank you for all that you do. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly at if you have any questions or need additional support. Stay safe and healthy everyone.
