Marlow Monday Message, March 5th, 2018

Henderson County Public Schools News

Good evening Glenn Marlow parents and students, this is John Hart with your Marlow Monday Message on this Monday, March 5th.  In this week’s Marlow Moments of the Week, 2nd grade students are taking great care of their quail eggs as part of their embryology project, 4th grade math students learned about fractions with measuring cups and rice, and on Friday, 1st grade celebrated Dr. Suess’ birthday with Camp Read-A-Lot and that morning, Ms. Alexander’s class made green eggs and ham for breakfast.  It was a great week at Marlow, and now, here is this week’s news and upcoming events:

– This week is Scholastic Book Fair at GMES.  Students will be visiting the Book Fair during their Library time at Specials.   The Book Fair is open from 7:45 – 4:00 each day this week. Please join us tomorrow night, Tuesday, March 6th for Family Night, from 5:30pm – 7pm. We hope to see you there.

– As a safety reminder to all parents and visitors that come into Glenn Marlow, please remember to have a photo ID with you when you come through the front office.  Please take a moment to remind those parents, grandparents, and family friends who may not receive this message or may be unfamiliar with our school, that all visitors must come and sign in at the front office, and must have a photo ID with them.  Thank you for cooperation with this.

– We hope to see everyone here this Friday, March 9th for Marlow’s Got Talent, and watch as our amazing students (and maybe some of our staff members) showcase their talents.  For those that RSVP’d our Chick-Fil-A dinner beforehand, dinner will be served beginning at 5pm in the cafeteria.  We hope to see you all there!!!

– Please note that a copy of this Monday message, as well as previous Monday Messages, can be found on our website under the General Information link and also the Parent Information link.   Please visit our website to see what other great information it has to offer.

Thank you for all that you do, and have a good night.
